  bought my fiance a ring for £2000, got to 10months old and a stone fell out, luckily my partner found the stone and we were then told by goldsmiths we would have to pay for the repair, after debating with the manager. they agreed to repair it for free. i then contacted them again after a few weeks to see if it was ready, but was then told i would be sent an estimate for repair??? very confused by this, so challenged it and got a short email saying they would be in touch, regret buying the ring from goldsmiths and should have gone elsewhere, still no ring and out of pocket by £2000 !!, .. Still no ring, been told now that the workshop that repairs them is on a jewish holiday for 2 weeks??, a multi-million pound company that takes 2 week holidays!! am lost for words.
